About

I was born and raised in Temple Terrace, FL, a suburb of Tampa, by loving parents who gave my younger brother and me all we ever needed and just about everything we ever wanted. Raised in a Christian church, I was saved when I was eight years old; baptized when I was 11.

During high school, with the guidance of my youth pastor, David Bourne, I heeded the call to full-time gospel ministry. As the Lord has matured me in this call, I have had the pleasure to be a part of many different ministries. The lessons I have learned throughout the years have been invaluable to me.

In 2009, shortly after graduating from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL, a desire within me towards church planting began to stir. As I began to explore the call to church planting I felt I needed to grow in my knowledge Word as well as gain more experience in church leadership. With those two focuses in mind, in the spring of 2011, I started the Masters of Religion program through the virtual campus of Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. Then, in January of 2012, I moved to Asheville, NC to be a part of a church plant called, Grassroots Church.

Above all, I desire to know more of Jesus Christ and learn to live in the love and grace he provided with his death on the cross. I want to share that love with others so they can grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

This blog – an online journal of sorts – is where I put my thoughts into pixels. A lot of what I write revolves around theology, culture, and family. However, I am prone to write about a little bit of everything in-between. A lover of photography and the story a single picture can tell, I enjoy expressing my thoughts through pictures as well.
